ISO 9001 and ISO 17100: Surveillance audit successfully completed
Gemino has successfully completed the annual DEKRA surveillance audit for ISO 9001 and ISO 17100.
The DEKRA auditor once again gave us highly positive feedback on the company as a whole as well as specifically on the expertise of our employees and our impressive continuous-improvement culture. There were no complaints, only individual recommendations.
Christian Schwendy, Gemino Managing Director, emphasizes: “In the course of the preparations and during the audit, one thing became clear to me once again: Our quality management is not a paper tiger, but the formal confirmation that we work professionally according to sensible specifications, which we continuously improve. And that’s exactly why our clients – especially in the life science sector – value these certifications and also demand them.”
ISO 9001 is the most widely implemented quality standard worldwide. It is applicable to quality management systems in all industries and thus allows us to coordinate our work even more closely with our clients’ processes.
The ISO 17100 standard regulates processes for translation services and is considered the industry standard. It imposes general requirements regarding the qualification of translators or that translations have to be revised by another pair of eyes, for example.
