Let’s talk about translation and AI at the tcworld conference 2025

The biggest questions in translation at the moment are: How can AI be optimally integrated into multilingual business? Is a rollout worthwhile? What expectations are being met? And is an assessment even possible? Our two cents: it depends on how flexible you are.

AI, but how?

AI is developing quickly and you want in on it – the potential savings in translation processes are between 5 and 95%. You can find out how much of this is in it for you by taking a well-founded inventory. One thing is clear: the most suitable tools should be used to get the best possible results. To achieve this, existing processes have to be optimally adapted to the possibilities of AI. Flexibility is called for: put your thinking cap on to scrutinize and, if necessary, adapt existing requirements. To achieve this, it helps to answer the following questions:

  • Do you still need the exact same level of quality for each type of content?
  • What (calculated) risks are acceptable from a business perspective?
  • Keyword data security: Where can cloud services be located and who manages them?

Basically, traditional thinking needs an update: with AI, it is no longer feasible to simply introduce a software system or a process and then let it run for a few years. AI changes. Constantly. At least for the next few years. Flexibility in terms of the deployed processes and technologies becomes a strategic advantage.

Gemino helps you to be “AI flexible”. We work closely with our clients on various AI projects. We would be happy to discuss them with you.
