All translations (possible) with AI!

Artificial intelligence has great potential in the context of translation. That’s why we are now supporting AI in all our workflows – naturally only in consultation with and at the request of our clients.

To better align our portfolio with different quality requirements, we altered our existing AI translation workflows slightly and added two new workflows: AI translation with light post-editing & AI translation without any editing.

This gives our clients access to the full spectrum of translation workflows for different scenarios (with and without the integration of AI) – ideally tailored to meet the entire range of quality requirements.

We are often asked whether companies can’t just use AI for translation by themselves. After all, there is a wide range of tools available.

Even if you only need pure AI translation, we recommend that you seek expert advice on system selection and implementation. There are many ways to optimize the quality of AI translations. This involves, for example, the technical preparation of the data for the smoothest possible processing (keyword: tag handling) or the inclusion of specific technical terms. The required level of data protection is an additional aspect that must be taken into account.

Why did we write “possible” in brackets in the title?

Firstly, because we only ever use AI in consultation with our clients.

And secondly, there are various dimensions to consider when you are thinking about switching your translation processes to the use of AI.
Example: software validation and consistency with previous version in the areas where ISO 13485 applies.

Due to the individual framework conditions in companies, the use of AI translation is not yet possible in every case.
